To enter the Care Home Awards you will need to pay the entry fee for each entry you make. The entry fee is £150.00 for the first entry. Any company wishing to make a second or more entries may do so at the reduced half price rate of £75.00 per additional entry, simply by clicking the “This is a secondary entry” check box on any subsequent entry form.
You pay for your entries, online, at the time of entry and you will be taken to the payment page when you click the Submit button at the foot of the entry form. This may take a few seconds to load, so please be patient. The first entry made by a company will always be £150.00. We will monitor entries carefully and if, for any reason, you pay too much, we will immediately refund any over payment.
UK Value Added Tax (VAT) will be added to all entry fees, as applicable, and the payment page should automatically show you the correct amount to pay. If you wish to make a number of entries and have them all invoiced together, rather than paying for each one separately online, please let us know in advance. You will then simply ignore the Payment page and we will send you one invoice once you have uploaded all your entries, but please remember that entries must be paid for upon receipt of invoice. Credit is not available on entry fees, so please advise your accounts teams accordingly. Also, if you need to cover the entries you make with a purchase order, please provide it in the space on the entry form.
What does the entry fee cover?
The fee is an administration fee covering the personnel costs involved in checking entries and their bona fides, collating all entries and bookmarking them in portfolios for the ease of the judges, convening the judging panels, supervising the judging process and events, covering any expense items associated with the judging, calculating all marks to establish a benchmark for all categories, compiling the short-lists of finalists and publicising the short-list of finalists through the media partners and other channels. Each entry must be paid for separately and will incur a fee.
When you complete your entry you will be taken to the payment page, where you will be able to pay for your entries using any internationally recognised credit or debit card, via the PayPal for Business system. If you prefer to pay by invoice and BACS, please let us know in advance.
By way of advance notice, please note that we will always run an event to celebrate the success of Finalists after judging is complete. It may a physical event, where table places will be available at a rate per person, or an online event, where a fee per Finalist company will be made, but these charges will be additional to any entry fees. Being part of a physical event or online presentation is at the discretion of each Finalist company and the results declared are completely independent of participation.
You may well have an internal or external team to prepare your entries, but If you do need any help writing your entries, Boost Awards can give you independent advice. Boost works completely independently of the Awards and there is no commercial relationship between Boost and the Care Home Awards.
