Fees

How much does it cost to enter?

To enter the Care Home Awards you will only need to pay an entry fee of £300.00 + VAT for each block of five entries you make. For example, any company wishing to make a six or more entries will pay an additional £300.00 fee for each block of five entries thereafter (e.g. 6 entries will incur two charges of £300.00; 14 entries, however, will incur three charges of £300.00, etc.) You simply click the “This is a second or subsequent entry” check box on any subsequent entry after the first entry. We will pick up those additional second or subsequent entries and invoice accordingly for the fees that are due.

We will monitor entries carefully and if, for any reason, you pay too much or too little, we will immediately adjust any over or under payment.

To avoid possible confusion we make a clear distinction between entries direct from care homes or care home groups and entries submitted via an agency. The direct entries are charged a fee for each block of five entries they make. The same is true for agencies submitting entries for one client. This changes, however, when an agency submits entries on behalf of different clients. Each different client will incur a fee for the agency for a block of five entries.

UK Value Added Tax (VAT) will be added to the entry fee, as applicable.

We will send you an invoice automatically once you have uploaded your entries, but please remember that your entry must be paid for upon receipt of invoice. Credit is not available on entry fees, so please advise your accounts teams accordingly. Also, if you need to cover the entry you make with a purchase order, please provide it in the space on the entry form. Do not leave this until after you have entered. Please also provide your VAT number.

What do the entry fees cover?

Each fee is an administration fee covering the personnel costs involved in checking entries and their bona fides, collating all entries and bookmarking them in portfolios for the ease of the judges, convening the judging panels, supervising the judging process and events, covering any expense items associated with the judging, calculating all marks to establish a benchmark for all categories, compiling the short-lists of finalists and publicising the short-list of finalists through the media partners and other channels. Each block of five entries will incur a £300.00 fee.

The invoice you receive from us will allow you to pay for your entries using any internationally recognised credit or debit card, via the PayPal for Business system. Alternatively,  you can pay by invoice and BACS or FundsFlow.

By way of advance notice, please note that we will always run an event to celebrate the success of Finalists after judging is complete. It may a physical event, where table places will be available at a rate per person, or an online event, where a fee per Finalist company will be made, but these charges will be additional to any entry fees. Being part of a physical event or online presentation is at the discretion of each Finalist company and the results declared are completely independent of participation.
